Matt Ward

Currently responsible for laying out the cameras and staging the action of director Robert Zemeckis’ performance capture films, Matthew Ward keeps himself busy outside the day job of working on big budget Hollywood films to push his work as a San Francisco independent director.

Known for his appealing music video work, Ward has brought to the screen some of the Bay Area’s local talent (Megan Slankard, Even Elroy, Super Adventure Club) and also worked with such large acts as Britney Spears, Glen Phillips (of Toad the Wet Sprocket), and most recently Cake, co-directing their first video in over six years.

Whether it be on the big or small screen, Ward is driven toward working on projects that produce creative, innovative, thought-provoking films and music videos for diverse audiences.
